Announcement on the new services expansion of LHR Notified Body:
Following the successful assessment of LHR Notified body, by the national accreditation body E.SY.D, according to ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065, our organisation is proud to announce its expansion of services for the following modules of assessment:
- Module A1 – Internal production control plus supervised product testing
- Module D – Conformity to type based on quality assurance of the production process
- Module E – Conformity to type based on product quality assurance
- Module H – Conformity based on full quality assurance
LHR is currently the first and the only EU notified body that had managed to receive accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065 and is now ready to deliver the entire spectrum of certification services according to the Recreational Craft Directive.
The additional modules D, E and H that LHR now offers, focus on Quality Assurance standard EN ISO 9001.
LHR technical staff will be responsible for assessing the technical documentation as well as the quality system for production, product inspection and testing set up by the manufacturer. The expertise of LHR auditors and inspectors specialised in the conformity assessment of small crafts, their engines and components will help every manufacturer operating the small craft industry to demonstrate compliance and ensure their competitive advantage.
