Our Notified body holds the Identification No. 2838, assigned by European Commission according to the Recreational Craft Directive 2013/53/EU. CE Marking of products that fall within the scope of the directive must be followed by the LHR’s ID No., when LHR is involved in the production control phase or in the post construction assessment.
Libero Hellenic Register has been approved as notified body of compliance assessment by the Ministry of Development and Investment of the Hellenic (Greek) Republic, Member State of European Union, according to the Recreational Craft Directive 2013/53/EU.
Libero Hellenic Register is accredited as per ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for the Certification of products, by the Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D) which has been appointed as the National Accreditation Body of Greece. It must be noted that E.SY.D is one of the founding members of EA. The European Accreditation Bodies have founded the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), one of the main goals of which is to promote the international recognition of both the accreditation provided by its members and the accredited services by maintaining reliable multilateral agreements (MLAs).
Our company operates an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certified by UKAS accredited certification body for the scope of:
• Classification, Statutory Surveys, Audits and Certification of Vessels & Floating Constructions based on International Conventions, Flag Requirements and Internal Class Rules;
• Approval of Ship's studies, Plans and Drawings.
